Job description:
Key Responsibilities
Safety Leadership
- Develop, implement, and maintain company safety policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory safety requirements
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Lead safety meetings and training for employees
- Investigate workplace incidents and develop corrective action plans
- Maintain safety documentation and reporting requirements
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization
Purchasing & Procurement
- Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Obtain quotes and negotiate pricing when appropriate
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking as needed
- Work with management to control purchasing costs and budgets
Qualifications
- Experience in workplace safety management
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices
- Experience with purchasing, procurement, or vendor management preferred
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities
