Key Responsibilities

Safety Leadership

  • Develop, implement, and maintain company safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory safety requirements
  • Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Lead safety meetings and training for employees
  • Investigate workplace incidents and develop corrective action plans
  • Maintain safety documentation and reporting requirements
  • Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization

Purchasing & Procurement

  • Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Obtain quotes and negotiate pricing when appropriate
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking as needed
  • Work with management to control purchasing costs and budgets

Qualifications

  • Experience in workplace safety management
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices
  • Experience with purchasing, procurement, or vendor management preferred
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities
